Part two of our useful toddler essential Amazon finds. This could end up being a ten part series as I keep finding more and more things!

Scramble Bug
Designed for toddlers that are still too little for a toddler bike, this is great for taking to the park, scooting round the garden, or even at home on those inevitable rainy UK summer days. Its non-scratch wheels are designed to be used indoors, and it’s foldable so will easily fit in the car boot, or under the pushchair.
Puddle Suit
We live in the south of England – our winters are mainly just rain, wind, more rain, and more wind. So a puddle suit has become a necessity as we spend a lot of time outside, rubbing around the park and jumping in puddles. If anyone knows where I can get an adult version of this, please let me know as Babybel stays nice and dry, while I end up looking like a drowned rat!
UV Tent
This is one of my favourite purchases for summer. We use it in the garden with the water table or the paddling pool in it, to keep the direct sunlight off of Babybel. Because it filters UV rays, I don’t have to worry about applying sunscreen as often when she’s in and out of the water. It’s also been great for the beach so that we can all have a little break from the sun, and also to keep the wind off of us at a very windy recent picnic!
Aqua Doodle Mat
Like most toddlers, Babybel loves drawing. These aqua drawing mats are made with a hydrochromic ink which changes colour when the user draws with a water filled pen, and then slowly disappears as the water dries. This is an ideal way for toddlers to draw without the fear of crayons being used on walls or furniture, meaning that I can leave her to get on with it while doing something else nearby, without having to keep checking exactly what she’s drawing on.
Lolly Moulds
We’ve been using these ice lolly moulds since Babybel turned 6 months as frozen things really help her gums while teething. As much as I’d love to live off of white Magnums and Twisters, we’re trying to teach Babybel about healthy eating habits, and eating ‘treats’ in moderation. So instead, I’ve been using fruit, yoghurt, and honey to make up toddler sized ice lollies using these NUK lolly moulds. They’re the perfect size for Babybel, both to hold, and the size of the lolly, and are full of nutritious things to keep her fuelled while she runs around everywhere.
Disco Light
This is another Amazon find that we’ve had since Babybel was a small baby. Originally we just used it as a a sensory light but now that she’s older, we have full on dance parties, complete with music and disco lights.
